Cinema technology has been developing from time to time in accordance with the high demand for a better cinematic experience. The latest addition to the recent developments now sees D' Cinema introducing a new filming technology called the Qube Digital 2D & 3D.
Qube Digital Cinema System is a digital cinema technology that will aid filmmakers in producing higher quality films that are up to international standards.
The system provides 2D and 3D cinematic experience with 5.1 surround sound.
Currently, there are 2,500 cinemas utilizing the Qube Digital Cinema System in countries like America, Europe, Middle East, Africa, Australia, India and Korea.
The digital system benefits the maintenance of the film picture quality as it helps to sustain some portion of the film reel well even when they are used in extreme conditions. Qube also provides audiences a sharper, louder and better sound experience in the cinema.
Looking at the financial aspects, the Qube system is expected to cut down the cost of pre-production mastering work by up to 60 per cent by utilising its technology. It's also capable to cut down film piracy as its anti-piracy technology used by the system fits the global standards in encryption and water marking.
Mr. Maraz, the owner of D' Cinema Sdn Bhd who is credited for his years of contribution to the Malaysian film industry, will be the distributor who provides the digital system to all cinemas in Malaysia. - CINEMA ONLINE
