Diva Malaysia, Datuk Siti Nurhaliza di katakan bakal muncul dalam sebuah filem muzikal terbitan KRU films pada tahun depan 2009. Beliau dikatakan beliau bakal berlakon di dalam filem tersebut yang merupakan filem lakonan pertamanya di layar perak selepas muncul di dalam filem pendek 'Zaleha Ayam Patah' terbitan UPM tidak lama dahulu. Industri filem tempatan pasti akan lebih rancak lagi dengan kemunculan penyanyi kesayangan ramai ini di layar skrin yang besar nanti.. good luck!!! Apapun saya ternati-nantikan, apakah benar Datuk Siti Nurhaliza Taruddin akan berlakon filem?. Sure pecah panggung punye.. harap2 storytelling dia tak lah merapu okay.. go KRU..

Rumour has it that Malaysia's top songstress Datuk Siti Nurhaliza is to land her first movie role in an upcoming KRU project. According to KRU Films, they have approached the diva before the Raya break to act in a musical fantasy, due for filming early 2009.
Datuk Siti's manager, Rozie, via phone conversation with Cinema Online, admitted that the production house did approach her sister-in-law with a script but Siti, who is currently running a tight recording schedule for an upcoming traditional album, has yet to take up the offer. She said: "Nonetheless, there is a possibility of Siti making her movie debut should the timing prove favourable."
Aside from Siti, the musical fantasy, which is said to be a la "Alice in Wonderland", is likely to assemble big local stars including singer Ziana Zain, Mawi and actress Maya Karin. A bigger surprise is that the youngest KRU sibling, Edry Abdul Halim, may helm the project for his first directorial attempt.
