In conjunction with the Sentul Festival, the International Kuala Lumpur Eco Film Festival (KLEFF) 2019 Lite where we'll bring you exciting environmental films and a simple discussion session after the screening to learn about how we can practice sustainability.

[Sunset Over Selungo - 31 minutes]
From a remote village in the rainforest of Borneo comes to an inspiring true story about freedom and belonging. Following Dennis, Unyang and Sia of the Penan tribe, Sunset Over Selungo is an intimate sight into an isolated way of life built upon centuries of jungle survival. Though hunting breakfast and living without the internet are difficult to imagine for most of us, Sia's daily concerns are just the same as anybody else's and he is determined to protect them.
17th August (Saturday) at 5 pm - 6pm:
[My Ba's Radio - 11 minutes]
An ailing father living in a bubble continues to find connections with his deceased wife through a small radio. This is much to the disapproval of his adult son who has returned from the city to take care of him. 'My Ba's Radio' recently won Best Short Film at Mantova Lovers Short Film Festival in Italy and had also won Best Short Film and Best Cinematography at Panasonic Digital Short Film Competition 2016, before it was officially selected and screened at film festivals in Japan, India, France, USA and a few others.
